I'm always miffed at how much the government and society brushes away science and innovation. Science and technology is the way of the future, but funding keeps getting cut. But at least President Obama is showing some support. Check out the article White House Holds 1st Science Fair.
And let's keep an eye out for Amy Chyao, the high school junior that taught herself chemistry and then went onto make nanotubes. Pretty cool.
