I posted this one for my lovely wife; a brilliant beautiful clinical pediatric pharmacist, who took a week of nights, so that she could get some extra vacation time. This is her last day before, we're off to Kauai. Love you!
And with that, from University of Alberta, Adding pharmacists to docs' offices helps patient outcomes, study shows. This is nothing new at least not on the west coast of California. Pharmacists are more than retail pill pushers at the local convenient store, a sad but common misconception of many in the general public. Rather they are an essential component of the medical team; making sure that drugs, antibiotics and other medicines are not only administered at proper doses, but also in the safest possible way to lessen any unwanted and often severe side effects. (This is of course is a gross understatement, they do so much for their patients).
So how about you give a pharmacist a hug today?
