A funny little sociological study took aim at body image in men and women after their first full sexual encounter with another person. Interesting, it was found that during college, women became more satisified with their looks from their freshman to their senior years in college, if they never had sex. The opposite is true with men, who became less satisfied with their appearance as they go through college, without having sex.
However, if women have sex, their self-body image plummets, while men after they have sex, their body image rises. Interesting study, not too surprising, but interesting nonetheless.
