But according to EurekAlert Press Release, garbage waste from our ancient ancestors may have helped in the growth and formation of the Everglades tree islands.
Does this mean our own garbage mounds might one day give rise to a new awesome ecosystem? Should we not worry about environmentalism then?
Somehow I doubt our ancestors were drinking out of plastic bottles and threw out nearly as much garbage as we do now.
So perhaps environmentalism is still the way to go.
