News is that Aretha Franklin is suffering from pancreatic cancer. That really does suck. Pancreatic cancer is a pretty nasty disease. It is slow growing, without much chance of survival. The pancreas is a small yet extremely important organ, especially in regards to regulating insulin level, blood sugar levels, and important digestive enzymes. This is the same disease that recently took Patrick Swayze's life.
